Punta Gorda MSA Voted #2
Hottest Retirement Spot
 

Punta Gorda MSA was once again recognized this time by BizJournals, for being the second hottest retirement spot in the nation. The study rated the appeal of 938 markets for retirees and gave highest marks to communities where the population of senior citizens (ages 65 and older) is already substantial and is growing rapidly. Punta Gorda MSA bagged the number two spot overall, and the number one spot for the 'Florida' category.
