Charlotte County Economic Development Office - Investing in Business

Commercial Activity

Charlotte is one of the first counties in the state to have on-line permitting.  A number of permit applications and fees can be processed over the Internet for many different types of small jobs. Payment for the permit fee can be made with a credit card via the Internet and processed instantly.  This is just one of the many ways Charlotte County is using technology to not only increase productivity but to improve customer service as well.
