Charlotte County Economic Development Office - Investing in Business

Employment Statistics

The Charlotte County Economic Development Office continues to strengthen its efforts in providing support for local businesses and in encouraging the relocation and expansion of new business in the area.  This leads to job creation, capital investment, and an improved local economy.

Workforce issues have consistently ranked as a primary concern for both small and large businesses.  Future demographic changes and predicted continued low unemployment add challenges to the already difficult task of locating, training and retaining productive employees.  There are resources available that often are under utilized because business professionals do not know they exist.

The Southwest Florida Employers Workforce Guide provides a brief overview and a method for you to tap into them.

The Agency for Workforce Innovation has a comprehensive job search site readily available, free to use.
